You Cannot Just Drift To The Top Of The Mountain
It takes a tremendous amount of time, effort, persistence, planning, commitment and courage to achieve peak performance, to reach the pinnacle of achievement or climb to ‘the top of the mountain.’
You cannot just drift up to or drop in on the apex of the Eiger, Everest or the ‘top of the mountain’ anywhere in the world. Anyway there would be a big lack of a wow factor if you jumped down from a helicopter (even if you could) on to the highest point. The mountain is your goal, dream or ambition that you want to conquer.
Yes, the scenery would be outstanding, but there would not be any real satisfaction without hardship, graft and having to overcome hurdles, obstacles and setbacks. So are you ready to fight for it?
So the big question I would ask you is this, “Do you possess the necessary desire, determination and drive to reach the top of the mountain?” Only you can answer that question, no-one else.
Most people do not have what it takes to hit the heights of stardom and that is perfectly okay. But understand there are many fantastic places that you can reach on that journey. So you might not make a million, but a hundred grand isn’t all that bad.
The bottom line is that if you were thinking of building a network marketing business, train for a triathlon/marathon or decide to climb a large mountain, you would need to put a serious amount of preparation and planning into place.
It makes me laugh when you see and hear of people starting a business and within a short space of time expecting it to bear fruit.
They turn up and expect miracles, which just ain’t going to happen. It takes more than wishing and praying to arrive at your destination.
You are going to have to go through the trials and tribulations of failing, falling down and having to drag yourself up from the floor on many occasions. The highs and lows will be many on your fantastic journey, whatever that journey may be. But the great news is that you can surmount any challenge, if you want it badly enough.
You can get to ‘the top of the mountain’ if you really want to get there, but only if you are tenacious and have a want bordering on an obsession inside. So much so that you cannot be dislodged from your thinking patterns and quit.
