The Law Of Averages
The Law of Averages works especially well in the network marketing arena. It is all about keeping score and working the numbers.
If you do something often enough you will get a ratio of results. Anyone can compete when they first get started, even if their ratios aren’t good at the beginning. Ratios become vitally important for both you and your team.
Network marketing is basically a numbers game. If you talk to ten people and one person says yes to your primary business and the other nine say no, that’s a great start.
This is what is called your opening ratio. 1 out of 10, not bad. So at first you don’t worry how good your ratio is you just have to get one going. Now you can compete with the best.
If you want three people, based on your previous results, then you will need to speak to thirty people. The more you do it, the better your numbers will become.
If you speak to a lot of people often enough a ratio of results will emerge. You want to develop a batting average.
Who can get a ratio going. Everyone, this works for anybody. Your age or education does not matter.
Remember the greatest learning comes from being self educated. You can definitely learn from the numbers. Standard education gives you standard results. Self education gives you great results.
Once you know what your ratio is you can then start to compete. You can make up in numbers what you lack in skill.
There are two things happening here, firstly the joy of competing, the results you get and the chance to get better at what you do. Once a ratio starts it tends to continue.
This principle works. So don’t just study it, just work it. Some people are studying the roots and others are picking the fruits. It depends at what end you want in on, the study or the results.
Now the ratio can be increased. So who can get better ? The answer is anyone that tries. If you share a good idea long enough, it will fall on good people, that is a promise. You’ve just got to find some people who want to.
Find the right people and use the law of averages to your advantage. But you must get good at the basics.
So how do you get the 100 percenters ?
Because some will be at 30% and some at 60%.
But if you tell the story (or expose your business) often enough and long enough.
If you get good at what you do, sure enough you will get the 100 percenters.
But you’ve got to learn to go through all of life’s set up. That is just the way it is.
If you learn all of that then it will work for you. So learn the law of averages, talk to lots of people every day, whether personally or through other mediums, like google etc.
So it’s called the numbers. It’s called how many people do you want to do well in your organisation.
When you speak to people, you should always expect a positive outcome and until that person rules themselves out, treat them like an ace.
Remember though, that person must qualify themselves for your valuable time.
