Practice And Sacrifice Are The Two Essential ‘Must Dos’ Of The Winners Creed
When you take a look at sports champions, there are two words that seem to describe them better than most. These words stand head and shoulders above other great words and they are practice and sacrifice.
Gary Player quoted this sentence:
“The harder you work, the luckier you get.”
Do you think that dragging yourself out of bed before anyone else stirs, on a cold and damp morning, is sexy? I don’t think so, because commitment is painful, time consuming and hard, but well worth it in the end.
Five in the morning is not for the weak, lazy or timid. That early in the day is exclusively for the birds and the very best athletes. These athletes have made bold decisions, in order to win.
Mastery Demands Practice
Network marketing on the other hand is quite different from sports, mainly because of the physical aspect that is demanded from the supreme sports people, on their respective journeys. However network marketers as well as all professionals must hone and master their craft, if they are to reap the rewards that are on offer.
A professional network marketer has to practice daily and sacrifice precious time away from their family.
“Practice makes the master.” Patrick Rothfuss
I am strongly suggesting that you should practice both physically and mentally. Not only acting the part every day and developing great habits, but also thinking through the necessary actions and seeing yourself completing any task successfully.
Practice will never make you perfect, but it will help your habits become permanent.
“Take chances, make mistakes. That’s how you grow. Pain nourishes your courage. You have to fail in order to practice being brave.”
The Practice Is A Big Part Of The Scarifice
I remember as an athlete practising different styles of running, footwear and training methods. I would run on or in many types surfaces, such as concrete, sand, water, mud, cinder and rubber tracks. It was all about winning and the way you win is by practising in all weathers, uphill and downhill. Whatever it takes, right?
It is the same in network marketing. Everyone has to find numerous ways of generating leads, then practice what to say to them, from the first conversation until they sign up or become customers. We all get better by repeating the process over and over again.
Every individual, including you, needs to practice daily. The goal is basically to get better at what you do. Yes, it is going to take some sacrifice. I kid you not, but the payoff is worth the effort.
I wish you well my friend. If you need help give me a call.
