Make The Circumstances Don’t Wait
Most people do not take direct action and become creative. They blame all sorts of things on their current situation. They may complain about their partner, work, friends or all manner of people, but the fact remains that you have to drive your life and if you don’t then someone else will.
When you meet someone for the first time, you have the opportunity to make a good first impression, don’t you? Well, you also have the opportunity to speak to that person and engage in a friendly manner and build a connection, or you could grunt and be miserable.
It is your choice how you conduct your attitude and actions once you enter that room. If you prefer to mumble and continue to think negatively, then you have basically wasted a chance to strike up a relationship with that new person. If you smile and say hello, then you may have the beginning of a meaningful dialogue, which may well lead to several things.
Maybe it is just someone to share the moment with and have a laugh, maybe it could be your future partner or a prospective business partner, who knows.
But by being wise and using your common sense you make the circumstances you want. You either decide or don’t decide. The moral of this is to take some positive action with the correct posture and who knows what might happen or you can be Mr or Mrs. Grumpy and sour the world with your presence.
I choose to be the happy one, well most of the time anyway. You have the same choice, so choose wisely my friend.
“People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them they make them.” ~ George Bernard Shaw
