So Are Great Habits The Key To Success?
I personally believe that our habits will either pull us down or they will lift us up, depending on the quality of those habits. An example of a great habit would be to go for a 2-mile run every morning and an example of a bad habit would be to eat cakes every day. I know this sounds extremely simplistic, but if you analyze your day, your week and the habits you employ, hopefully, you would end up agreeing with me.
So, take a look at your own personal habits and find a way of tweaking them to ensure that you are moving in the right direction. Just take one habit at a time and change it slightly. Ease towards what you want gradually and not violently, because you may just go back to your old ways if the change is too swift or large.
As another example, take reading as a way of moving forward. If you are used to watching the 6 pm news, change your habit by spending 10 minutes reading something uplifting or inspirational, such as ‘Think and Grow Rich’ by Napoleon Hill. Do you think this would be easy for you to do?
