I have found that the best way to improve your marketing is to have another person review your marketing plan on a regular basis. In other words an accountability partner. This can be achieved through the setting up of a buddy system.
Don’t show or tell them about your existing marketing plan and don’t read it out to them. Have a meaningful dialogue, tell them your history, be truthful, answer any questions and then see what they come up with.
Get the other person to write your marketing plan and you write theirs. Have a bit of fun with it but remember to always support and encourage each other. You could also challenge each other to generate a certain number of leads for your business.

You can meet at a prearranged time every week and during these conversations, you can exchange information, tips, tricks, and ideas.
The great thing is you have an accountability partner or buddy system, it will ensure that you engage in developing marketing strategies and the implementation of the same.
You will both require honest feedback so that you will know where work needs to be improved. A buddy who has the vision, can see the “bigger picture” and offer valued constructive criticism will assist you to build up your strengths, identify and manage your weaknesses.
