A Positive Return On Your Investment

Aim For A Positive Return On Your Investment?

When people think of a return on your investment ( R.O.I.) they are probably looking at the amount of profit they will make. But is it all about the money you make. I hope that is not the only area you are focused on.

Cash and investments are definitely a part of the whole equation, but what about growth, contribution, connection, and love. These are some of the areas where you may wish to have a positive result having invested a percentage of your life.

Again we get back to that word balance again, the holy grail, to ensure you receive an adequate return back.

a positive return on your investmentThe area of compounding is a fascinating subject and it works in many ways. The most obvious would be your investments, but it also works with things like reading. If you spend 30 minutes every day reading something positive, inspirational or uplifting, on a consistent basis, think of the compounding effect of your attitude and life generally.

(Compound interest arises when interest is added to the principal so that from that moment on, the interest that has been added also itself earns interest. This addition of interest to the principal is called compounding.)

I think the principle of receiving a positive return on your investment is important and relates to every area of life, even a relationship, where you invest a tremendous amount of time into building something of value and obviously you are looking for some kind of return, such as a kind word, intimacy, love, and connection.

Now if you do not give, then it is obvious that you will probably not receive. Sometimes people give too much and receive very little in return. The proportions are imbalanced, so ultimately the structure or relationship will probably crumble.

So be prepared when seeking a positive return on your investment to ensure you seek balance and let the good stuff compound.
